Do neutrinos have a magnetic moment?
|

|
If particles with spin possess a magnetic moment, does this mean that
neutrinos have a magnetic moment?
If so, how can this be since they are electrically neutral, and
according to special relativity, a magnetic force is a manifestation of
the electrostatic force of a charge in motion. |

You can read about it at the following article from the Particle Data
Group.

A massless neutrino should not have a magnetic moment. However, now it
is expected that neutrinos do have mass.
