I am studying a course in measure theory.
A one moment, for the definition of a measure.
It is said that if A belonging to the tribu T has a measure less than
infinity
then, this entails that m(empty set) = 0.
Someone knows why?

Thanks

"Tribu" is not English: usually "tribe" but something else here

The argument may be something like
1. A and the empty set are disjoint: they have no elements in common
2. The union of A and the empty set is A: every element of either is
an element of A
3. so m(A) + m(empty set) = m(A)
4. m(A) is finite
5. so m(empty set) = 0
