What's Chemistry put on the stage
in the last 20 years? Velakofsky?
Great laughs. Poly-water (this stuff
is sold as lubricant for communications
cable pulled through plastic, concrete,
and probably metal ducts)? Silicone
implants?

Social scientists have more fun!

From the city that fixates on the
slimy parts and the money to buy

them, the New York Times for Tuesday,
May 17, 2005, on the first page of
the "Science Times" has this banner
title: "A Critic Takes On the Logic
of Female Organism".

As if there were such a thing. The
piece even goes on to mention an
alleged "clitoris" and the orgasm
resulting from its stimulation.

Give me a break. How many people
still believe that their heart
is under the left pec (breast
muscle to those in the know)? More
than trust the government? Look at
the arrogance coming out of the
First through the Fourth Estates.
The "War on Terrorism" is war on
the ordinary by those believing they
are extraordinary.

Dr. Elisabeth A. Lloyd has a new book
out on the market: "The Case of the
Female Organism" is missing "Missing".

She undercuts the famed Kinsey Report
with it's emphasis on the number of
reported organisms and how they're
achieved, citing lower figures.

Ho ho ho. As if the girls are gonna
admit sex is not fun. "Walking the
dog" (a.k.a. "Putting on the dog while
throwing panties at Elvis") is her
first step to making her way in the
world in any independent manner. As
she climbs the ladder, she generally
stops by at the guard house for some
intelligence gathering (i.e. "Dumb John
with Gun"). Colleges and universities
are her favorite fishing grounds (did
you meet your honey there?) The real
hotties on the streets in Manhattan
could double as sorority sisters out
looking for prey.

There's the _real_ "Logic of Female Orgasm".

She surrounds herself with johns of two
types: dumb; and, queer. The dumb one's
typically have pot bellies, and believe
what she says. The queer ones don't buy
the "have seconds on your favorite dessert,
Honey" gambit, and know she's lying but go
along anyway. Both known in some circles
as "slaves to women". All others are grouped
into a single class known at "Him" or "He" and
become the "enemy" to be defeated, or married,
if it's a move upward). What cunning stunts.
Her accusations of "lying", rapes, beatings,
are a hoot ("that naaaaasssssttttyyyyyy man!
Heh. No me, by any means; I'm just reporting
my observations :-)

There's a political undercurrent, no,
riptide here, somewhere. Separation
of Church and State? Any pundits
lurking?

Mark (... my humble rant as a try in
explaining the motives of those
getting nothing but having to
sleep on the wet-spot -- some
get to be called "wives", others
become gossip tibits |-)

For one, there is the play "Oxygen", which was written by two very-well known chemists.
See, e.g., http://www.news.wisc.edu/story.php?get=8338.

Can you cite a reference? Otherwise, I'd guess you made it up.

The word used there was "orgasm". A social scientist should know the difference.

I found a partial bucket of the
stuff under the FDR highway at the
foot of Wall Street where some
reconstruction of the street
was being done over the past
year or so.

We chemists would call that a
"Freudian Typo", something
social "scientists" haven't yet
stolen from us :-)
