I'd like to find a list of web sites aimed at student engineers. Does
anyone here recall having seen such a list? Or anyone have any ideas
on how I might find such a list? (Yes, yes, I know, "Google it". I've
tried; I can't seem to even get close to pinpointing such a list.)

I am not sure I understand what it is your are looking for, but the
IEEE offers a student section on their website with good information
aimed at student engineers.

EEVL http://www.eevl.ac.uk/ is a guide that's aimed at academics - not
just students, but also lecturers and researchers.

The Catalogue can be filtered by resource-type
