Compressor 2x noise
|
|
|
Hello Everyone...
| Quote: | From FFT analysis, it is known that 2x (twice of rotating
speed)frequency noise is very dominant for centrifugal compressor. |
This component is over 10dB than other frequency components.
But how can 2x frequency noise component can be possible in centrifugal
compressor?
Can exhaust components be such noise source? |

Bear in mind that most noise and vibration problems can be reduced to |
excitation*response = output.
There is a good chance that you have aresonance near the frequency of
concern.

Centrifugal type Compressor
No gear...
Rotated by permanent magnetic type rotor...controlled by inverter.
Supported by air foil bearing
1 and 2 stage compression at 1 rotor. |
