dear folks:

In a solution of a problem, to be correct, the following must be true:

sum(exp(-2*i*k*pi)=1; k from minus infinity to infinity


I am not sure if it is correct. Can you please verify it for me?

No, for it is false. exp (-i 2 k pi) = 1 for each k. Hence, the
series diverges to positive infinity.
