I build fishing lure and like the folks in europe, I want to make my
own cellulose proprionate lacquer to clearcoat and seal my lure. From
what i see on their website the simply dilute
proprionate pellets in Lacquer thinner and did the finish lure 5 - 10
time to get a hard waterproof durable finish.

Do one of you know where I can get proprionate pellets in Canada?
Can I use another type of plastic pellet to dilute in thinner , one
thats more available?
Do you know of a better of the shelf waterproof, durable & hard
clearcoat I could use to dip
the bait in?
All the help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!
Simon.
Have you tried the polyurethane varnishes? They will probably have a |
better performance than the cellulose lacquers. You can get them at the
paint section of your hardware store. |
