Hi,

We had a seminar lately and we got a demonstration of WinMLS from
Morset Sound Development http://www.winmls.com/

That pc-based sound measurement system can do many things, among them
in-situ measurements of absorption.

The company is serious and is close related to the research group in
acoustics of Norwegian university of science and technology (NTNU).

Hi ... I want to measure sound absorption coeff. of larger surfaces.
However, those surfaces cannot be cut in to pieces and tested in normal
impedance tube in lab.

Now, I am looking for a portable equipment (commerical products) which is
suitable for in-situ testing material absorption (e.g. absorption
coefficients). Any suggestion on what kind of equipment I should consider ?
Any web-site / brand name can be provided ?

Thanks.
