FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MathAbacus.com Launches New Look and New Book

Another book from the critically acclaimed "Learning Mathematics with
the Abacus" series is launched together with a newly designed web
site.

Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - April 3, 2006 - The much sought-after
continuation of the 'Learning Mathematics with the Abacus Year 1'
books is finally released for worldwide distribution. Mathabacus.com
has just launched the 'Learning Mathematics with the Abacus Year 2'
textbook on its web site.

"Since we've been online in June 2005, Mathabacus.com has really
been successful with customers ordering from USA, Canada, UK,
Australia, India, and Malaysia. Before this our market was only in
Malaysia since many schools have adopted our books as major reference
for abacus learning in math classes throughout the country," says
Sheikh Faisal, the author and owner of Mathabacus.com.

The Ministry of Education of Malaysia has made learning Mathematics
with the abacus compulsory in all public schools in Malaysia since
2005. About one million pupils nationwide are already using the abacus
in their Mathematics classes. Tens of thousands of pupils are already
using these books, highly recommended by the Director General of
Education, Ministry of Education, Malaysia himself, as well as
curriculum specialists, mental arithmetic tutors and academicians
nationwide.

"It is a trend in the recent years that many Asian countries have
started to look back at the effectiveness of the abacus in math
learning and many parents elsewhere do not want their kids to be left
even further behind their Asian peers. That's why Mathabacus.com is
very popular in such a short period of time among concerned parents
particularly in the United States," says Faisal, who has an
instructional designing background.

Learning Mathematics with the Abacus is a set of books that guides kids
as young as 4 or 5 year-olds, to acquire mathematical skills and
concepts using the abacus and adopting the problem-solving approach
towards mastering Mathematics. The integration of the abacus into the
math curriculum is cleverly done that makes it a seamless math learning
package. The step-by-step instructions are also easy to understand even
for kids themselves.

In 'Learning Mathematics with the Abacus Year 2', the same concept
is expanded to addition and subtraction with numbers up to 1000. The
concept of multiplication and division and how to represent them on the
abacus are also introduced. Sample pages of this new book are available
for download at the newly-designed web site.

The 'Learning Mathematics with the Abacus Year 2' comes in two
versions: a hard copy and a downloadable e-book. Purchases can be made
online at Mathabacus.com.
