Hi all,
The IP67 rated fieldbus IO modules from Turck and Beckhoff have been
available since mid 2004. Success stories posted on respective web-sites
extol their virtues on machine and OEM level applications (a couple of Waste
water industry applications were mentioned).

However has anyone had much success in using these modules in continuous
process industries (such as chemical / petro-chemical plants)? Are there
any pitfalls to be avoided when considering these modules for continuous
process plants?

Thanks in advance for all comments and suggestions.
