Hello...I'm looking for chemical reactions involving sodium carbonate
use in photography or in the textile industries. No book seems to
mention the reactions, .....are the reactions not known????Any help is
greatly appreciated!! |

How about looking at it from a different perspective? Where might they need
to adjust a pH upwards?

Look at a book on photographic chemistry. It is used to increase pH to make
developing agents work. It is cheap. It is safe compared to NaOH.
