MuPAD, 3-D graphics, animation and Flash
|

Hi NG People,
I am producing some 3-D animated graphics using MuPAD. Using Vcam the user
can move back and forward between frames of the animations. Of course Flash
caters for movement between animation frames under control of ActionScript.
I would like, in Flash, for the user to be able to click a button and have
ActionScript play the animation (produced by MuPAD) to a predetermined point
and stop. When the user clicks the button again the animation gets played up
to another point and stops again.
Flash is the perfect vehicle for all the other things I am doing for this
application, including coordination of sound. Is there any way I can
accomplish the controlled playback of 3-D animation from MuPAD using Flash
as detailed? It seems that there is no clean compatibility between MuPAD
graphics and Flash and no conversion path between them - at least none that
I can find.
AVI files produced by MuPAD and imported into Flash appear to be badly
smudged. I will ask about this on a Flash NG also.
Cheers,
Brad |
