Hello, I have no idea which newsgroup to ask about this. One can find
websites for just about anything on the internet so I thought there's
no harm in asking.

For example, let's say an athlete was born on January 1st 1980 and wins
a gold medal on June 27th 1998 and I want to know exactly how old he
was on that date is there a website where I cna insert his birthdate
and "date X" and it tells me how many years and days he was on that
day?

I often write articles about footballers and it's common to mention how
old he was when he first got callled up to play for his country's
national squad and it's easy to know their birthdates and the date when
they got their first international cap but finding out exactly how old
he is (for the sake of keeping track of the all time youngest) can be
difficult.

Why don't you explain to him that the footballer's age depends on how fast he
can run, diddlephuck?
