A new usage to me.
I've had goat curry in Bristol courtesy of 'West Indian' locals there. It's
considered a treat and very tasty it is too.

Oops. Stupid me. I already said that negative emotions would be
blocked
and sadness is a negative emotion.
You need to get over this fixation that emotions can be "negative" or
"positive" (in a "good vs bad" manner).
But most of us will agree on the truth of the second sentence.
(<pedantic>Do you mean second half of the sentence?</pedantic>)
I am not sure I do, I agree sadness is a sad emotion however I have never
really experienced it as being "negative."
No, the second sentence. The first is "Oops." The third refers to
blocking emotions.
|
(<embarrassed>D'oh!</embarrassed>)
Sorry. I must learn to pay attention properly when I read things. For some
reason that had all blurred into one sentence.....
Time for a trip to the opticians, methinks.
Yes. I agree with you 100% now. |

Are you in the US? I believe the term is American.
By the Bristol comment, I would guess not.

So far the only thing nanotech has proved of any use for
is a leveraged buyout of pico-tech.
Nanobots can be used to help keep our cells healthy and longer-lived.
Theoretically, immortality is possible. Nanobots are the most practical
source of such a blessing. Nanotech is far more efficient than genetic
engineering.
That would be a whole new meaning to BSOD. |
