Fusion experiments you can do

I used to try to make tiny hydrogen bombs in my back garden just for fun but
I got into trouble for making atom bombs in my back garden, so I gave it up.
Fusion goes on a room temperature to some degree I don't know what the
probability is but if you have a tube of hydrogen at room temperature and
pressure there are a tiny number of fusion events each hour.
With deuteium it is higher and with tritium it is still higher.
So you can extrapolate. |
