If the pricniple of induction in a generator is that a magnetic field
passes in close proximity of the stator, magnetizing it, and then
moving away from the stator allowing the stator to rest causes the
stator to send a pulse of induced current to the battery would a pulse
be produced by simply turning the power on and off to the battery?The
stator would still excite and collapse would it not?

Haven't you looked in your high school geometry text in the chapter
