Hello,

I am looking for some information on the laser setup for Janus,
Argus, Cyclops, Shiva, and Nova. (amplification types wavelengths etc.

I have gotten a lot of information from some books and LLNL website
itself about the NIF and Titan laser system (the newer ones) but the
older ones I am having trouble finding more detailed info on.

I also had one question about Titan(Petawatt laser). Is it CPA before
its send through this image or is the CPA happenind in this
contraption?

Thanks!

There were some relatively detailed articles in a magazine (now defunct)
called "New Technology" on the NOVA project back in the late 80's.
There were probably some technical references at the articles' ends.

NOVA was a part of a private enterprise under KTG[?] corporation.
Anyway, that research effort imploded after the Corp's founder died of a
heart attack? (He was pretty overweight, but looking back - it's not
hard to imagine the DOD DIA killed him off because he wouldn't deal with
them on weaponry - he was only interested in clean power.) Go Figure.

And thanks to that crap-like behavior of the SUCK-ASSED USA NATIONAZI's,
we'll all be extinct from Global Warming soon enough. THANKS MORONS -
admit you're wrong yet? REPUBES LICKING ASSHOLES!

I used to be so idealistic - UT AUSTIN's tokamak research was shut down
by Smell Oil in the early 80's. Go Figure.

The big monkeys eat the little monkeys - even though there is enough ape
s**t to go around for every one of them.

I'm not averse to email from thinking people.
