using an Agilent 5973 ms with 6890 gc
EST Encon concentrator with Archon 8100 model autosampler running a
soil method.

Currently my MDL studies for this instrument setup are yeilding failing
results due to what I believe to be low sensitivity. No matter how
much I increase the Electron Multiplier voltage (EMV), low level
concentrations (1ppb) are yielding a mean RF less than 85% or greater
than 115%

Any tips?

Thx

Most problems associated with volatiles analysis are in the
concentrator. Start there.
