General Chemistry Question.



I need to solve this problem. I'm more interested in the method of
solving it than just the answer. I'd be very greatful if someone would
help.
At pH 6.00 and pE 3.00, what is the concentration of Fe2+ (mol/L) in
equilibrium with Fe(OH)3?

What is pE? I know what pH is. It is the negative logrithm of the
Hydrogen Ion concentration. i.e. pH=6 implies H+ is 10^6 or 0.000001
Since the pH plus pOH is usually near 14. The OH ion concentration is
10 to the minus 8.
Now if I had an equation relating Fe2+ to Fe(OH)3, I'm sure I could
come up with some sort of ratio especially if pE is the equilibrium
constant, 10 to minus 3.
Incidentally in industry is more usual to work in terms of kg moles per
kg of solution.
