Mathematical modeling of refinery processes

Hi,
I am looking for books/journals etc where I can find MATHEMATICAL
MODELING OF REFINERY PROCESSES like CDU,FCC,...
I am not interested in commercial simulators.

Hi,
I don't know the purpose of your modeling. But there is a complete
reference book about refinery processing:
"Pretroleum Refining", Institut Francais Du Petrole Publications, ISBN:
2-7108-0686-X
5th volume of these series (refinery operation and management) deals
with application of linear programming
in the refineries as a supply chain management. Modeling of material
balances, product specs and etc. were discussed.
You can use even Excel to run these types of models.

ChemSep-Lite is avalable for free downlaod from http://www.chemsep.org/
Although it won't simulate complex units like CDU or FCC as per your
request, but it does a geed jib of simple binary distillation.
