I am a Hong Kong student just finished Cert Exam and am interested in
studying acoustic engineering in university, I wonder if there is any
university providing this course? not necessary to be in Hong Kong...

and there is one problem. i did not study AMaths in HKCEE, so i am not
allowed to have Pure Maths in Alevel. Is that there is no way that i
can take engineering in university?

Most university programs in acoustics are at the graduate level, that is
Masters and PhD level rather than BS level. Thus, in most cases, your first
step is to get an undergraduate BS level degree that includes significant

acoustics. I know there are programs in other countries as well though I am
not a familiar with their details.

another 2 years for matriculation study (such as A-Level) before entering
any university for a degree course.

If I am correct, you will not take any of Pure Math or Applied Math in
A-Level in coming years. I quite suggest you to take a course in Pure-Math
in A-Level by yourself and attend a AL exam. It seems that P.Math is a
basic requirement of many engineering courses. Honestly, you have nearly
no chance to study a degree in engineering in HK if you dont have P.Math
result.
