Hallo,

Last week I cleaned out my fathers shed and I found a jar of
Oil-finding-paste.

This paste changes color when you put it in oil or gasoline. I'd like to
know more about this paste.
I found out that it is made by a couple of companies. My fathers paste
changes from light pink to red.
But some other Oil-finding-paste changes from green to white.

I would like to know what the color-changing ingredient or combination in
those pastes are or if anyone knows another indicator that
changes color when you put it in oil or gasoline and that is non-toxic.

I'm an artist and I have some ideas to use this
ingredient/indicator/color-changing-stuff
in a "interactief" painting

In short: I would like to know how to make this paste.

Thank you
Judith
