Hunchback wins National Gold in rowing

He didn't win as the small 9th person commending the tempo
and navigating in the eight-person pro rowing setup.
He was invited to join the rowing club for a four day trip
by his girlfriend after spending a day rowing together
one day. He never rowed before. He learned the basics
that day, which was to hold the oars and keep balance
while his girlfriend was rowing.
That evening his girlfrield introduced him to her coatch,
and asked if could join for the 4 day trip. They were going
out for a while, and that day the rowing club had an
available boat for two named Starship Unilat, journey through
the white hole. Someone wrote it there with red paint with
a painting of Starship Enterprize, including red no smoking
circle signs, under it written: "Basic government ordinance,
USA bans smoking, basic basic basic - your coatch"
"That coatch, a*****le. To paint like that." - Hunch said.
"He used to work for the government. He is like that.
Smoking is bad for rowing anyways." - his girlfrield replied.
They took off in the Morning with hundred or so boats.
It was the annual tradition to float four days down the
river to the city hosting the national rowing competition
and not go with a bus.
Hunch sat, held the oars tightly, and even that was a
difficult task, his oars turned to the wrong position, and
they almost fell in. The boat was very narrow and
unstable beneath, and the oars provided the only balance,
and one unbalanced move, and they fall into the water.
Even how the oars were held had to be watched. These
boats were designed for high speed. His girlfriend was
doing the rowing. The rest of the boats with pro rowers
quickly moved ahaid, and Hunch stayed far behind with
Natasha. They weren't in a hurry. Even if they just flowed
without rowing, they would have made the evening camp.
Lunches were packed individually, and rowers were
free to stop by the riverside anywhere they pleased for
lunch.
Sypnosis:They rode for four days, stopping for lunches
on islands in the middle of the river, having big parties at nights
with the rowers, Hunch learned to row well by the end
of the four day trip, and upon arriving to the competition a
rower fell sick, and they were missing a rower just before
their competition was going to start. We need someone
quickly, the coatch was saying. We only have Hunch here.
What should we do, you all need to get in the water right now...
Well, they won. Way to go Hunch! What a surprize.
Gold medal, big party, big end, and by the tent table,
Hunch at night sat down and wrote a letter to his parents
about his Summer vacation. |
