How to maintain a time machine ???
|
|
|
If the flux capacitor is damaged, I may disrupt the flow of time and
cause the destruction of the universe.
So how can I maintain my time-machine to prevent this ? |

Don't worry about it. If it happens, you won't know. |

Paul (and anyone else),
Look at the thread "Best Practices for a Hardware/Embedded Designer" in
news:comp.dsp. My best guess is that it started as a troll, but suppose
not?!

Glad you enjoyed that bit of flippancy Jerry.
I have followed the "Best Practice..." thread in comp.arch.embedded and I
was under the impression that the OP there was being a little serious about
that topic. This thread, though, I took for the tounge in cheek good humour
that it obviously was (I thought we were allowed to have some fun too).

Same originator, not uniformly cross posted. He works for the government
(which one?) and his aim is to save taxpayers' money.

There is no such thing as a 'flux capaciter' as you may know them. Time
isn't real either, its a construct of the Imagination. However, since
we are living in a complex Illusion, relative to that Illusion, time is
real, and therefor time travel is possible.
The first thing you must do is break out of the Network. The last
person I know of that was able to do this was Harry Houdini.
The layers of psycotronic voodoo amongst matrix humans is only the
surface layer. Once you break out of that and begin seeing the messages
on the screens, you can become free, and perhaps be able to time travel. |

What is schizophrenia?
Schizophrenia is a brain disorder that affects almost 2.2 million
American adults (approximately 1 out of every 100). If you or someone
you love has schizophrenia, treatment can help.
People with schizophrenia often have trouble thinking clearly or
making decisions. They may have a hard time telling real life from
fantasy. They may also find it a challenge to deal with other people.
These can all be symptoms of schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia generally consists of the following kinds of symptoms.
Positive symptoms: Such as delusions or hallucinationswhich are also
known as seeing or believing things that are not real. (These are
called positive symptoms because they are there but shouldnt be.)
Negative symptoms: Such as social avoidance, emotional
withdrawalwhich are also known as a lack of feeling, or expression.
Starting to do things, but not following through. Taking no pleasure
or interest in life. (These are called negative symptoms because
they refer to things that are missing.)
Disorganized symptoms: Confused in thinking and speech. Acting in ways
that do not make sense.
The above are the most common symptoms of schizophrenia, but they can
also happen at the same time as the following symptoms: not being able
to focus, unable to solve simple problems, being sad, or not being
able to remember things.

this is a reasonable concern
flux is a product of inductance
inductance is the opposite of capacitance
as the inductor integrates and the capacitor differentiates
therefore if the unit is damaged and the contents escape...nothing will
happen
at all
....ever
unless someone restarts time
NB, the area affected will be in inverse square relationship with the
current flowing at the time |

"Tristan Beeline" is a troll to a lot of newsgroups. He tracks
responses in "finet.unet," so if you remove "finet.unet" from the list
of groups that the message goes to, you can steal some of his trollish
pleasure.

I believe that most of thread participants know that it is a troll's.
Some of us like to exercise our creative writing skills once in a while.
Threads like this one, started by another, can be a fun way to do that.
I call this "Trolling of the third kind"; an obvious spoof, like
thiotimoline. Trolling of the first kind seeks to deceive, while
trolling of the second kind seeks to outrage.

I am not sure I know how to take finet out of the list of places this
goes to? I am using google groups to read all this stuff. Anyways:
Asshat syndrome:
99 out of 100 americans suffer from Asshat syndrome. Its symptoms
include but are not limited to:
1.Thinking you are better than everyone else.
2. Classifying other humans into mental health boxes such as
'schizophrenic', 'delusional' 'paranoid', without even understanding
the underlying nature of reality yourself.
3. Correcting peoples spelling mistakes in newsgroups, Google groups,
Yahoo groups, chat rooms, or anywhere else on the internet.
4. Jumping on the bandwagon with people when they attack someone for
posting their opinions, so that you can feel 'special'.
5. Thinking that, just because something has not been done, and seems
very advanced, must no be possible, and therefore anyone who talks
about such things must be delusional. (See #2).
6. Being in denial of any of the above symptoms. |

Thake your own advice: "The layers of psycotronic voodoo amongst matrix
