catia V4 very different from V5?

Is Catia V4 very differnet from V5? If one is to learn from these two
books for V4 is it applicable to V5?

1) Advanced Solids & Parametric Modeling Workbook
2) ADVANCED SURFACE DESIGN

Yes, it is totally different software, just the name is common...

It is like learning windows in unix text console...
